We headed down to the Anacortes Farmers Market yesterday morning. It continues to get bigger every year, and has so much to offer. It was overcast yesterday so it wasn’t too hot, and the rain had stopped overnight. The Market is a short walk from Anacortes Marina along the waterfront. It’s a great way to start the day.
We found vendors selling vegetables and fruit, good looking berries, crêpes filled with vegies, Mexican food, wood-fired pizza, cut flower arrangements, breads and sweet gooey things (we got some), meats, garden plants, interesting cheeses, nice wood crafts, clothes, and much more. There is live music too, and tables and chairs where you can sit down and enjoy a conversation, grab a cup of coffee, or eat something yummy from one of the vendors.
